Born and raised in the South Jersey area, I am a nature and animal loving, veggie eating, easy going, yogi mama. I love the outdoors, going on adventures, exploring new places, taking naps, doing yoga, meditating, cooking and spending time with loved ones. I am married to my best friend and often feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
Pregnancy, childbirth and motherhood have been some of the most teaching and empowering experiences of my life. It has allowed me the opportunity to learn and grow as an individual, as well as dig deep within myself to uncover my passion for holding space and being in support of pregnant women, mothers and families.
I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher certification in June 2016 and find that many of the principles, practices and techniques are very complementary and easily applied to labor and supporting a birthing mother. In August 2016, I completed my DONA Birth Doula Training. I aspire to obtain the Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) Certification in the near future and I am always furthering my knowledge and continuing my education through workshops, books, position papers, evidence based articles, networking and other opportunities that present themselves.
Regardless of how you envision your ideal birth, I believe every birth experience should be dignified and empowering; every birthing mother deserves respect, support, encouragement, love and peace throughout this life changing journey. I look forward to serving you on your path to motherhood.

Birth Doula, Lactation Educator,
Certified Lactation Counselor,
My wife was laboring at the birthing center for over 24 hours, and Deanna was by our side the whole time. She provided us both with so much strength and positivity, even though she slept even less than we did. In the months leading up to our birth, Deanna was a helpful and readily-available resource in all aspects of the birthing process--from medical advice to suggestions about aroma therapy and yoga positions. We are so grateful that she was with us!
